Job Summary

Safely operate a heavy-duty truck on transfer routes, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle per OSHA, DOT, and company standards, maintaining a clean, safe vehicle.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, noting issues on DVIR forms.
• Report unsafe situations or service issues promptly.
• Participate in training and meetings.
• Collaborate with Route Managers to optimize routes and address issues.
• Notify management of incidents, accidents, or property damage.
• Communicate customer requests and ensure containers are properly positioned and the area is clean.
• Complete route documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• At least 1 year of CDL experience, manual transmission experience required.
• Valid CDL B license with no restrictions on automatic transmission.
• Must be 18+ years old, pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background checks.
• Acceptable driving record.
