Job summary

Five Star Cooperative is seeking a CDL driver to safely operate semi tractor-trailer units and deliver goods to designated locations. The role includes loading and unloading, assisting with loading at sites, and supporting adjacent locations as needed.

The incumbent will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while contributing to efficient grain and agronomy operations and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks including tractor-trailer combinations to transport goods, grain, fertilizer, or other materials to specified locations.
• Load and unload trucks; assist customers with loading and unloading as needed.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service status as required by regulations.
• Obtain and verify all load documentation and ensure accuracy of routes and instructions.
