Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain truck logs and paperwork according to state and federal regulations.
• Communicate with the Foreman regarding pickup/delivery instructions and safety concerns.
• Inspect and maintain truck equipment to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Perform pre-trip inspections, logbook completion, and adhere to CDL laws.
• Operate trucks safely, load and unload materials, and support paving and other site activities.
• Assist with general labor tasks, traffic control, and site cleanup.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and report incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL and DOT certification; ability to pass drug test and background check.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and physical ability to perform job duties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.
