Job summary

Arizona Department of Corrections via the Arizona Correctional Industries (ACI) seeks a Truck Driver to oversee transportation, delivery, and installation of ACI products at ASPC Eyman in Florence. This role supervises an inmate workforce and requires operating various vehicles and equipment, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years on-the-job experience driving a semi-tractor-trailer and/or box truck.
• A current, valid, and in-good-standing Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience in warehouse or transportation operation with supervision, shipping, receiving, inventory control, product delivery, storage, manufacturing, and installation.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required by Federal law.
• Supervises and trains assigned inmate workers.
• Monitors work crew activities and enforces security practices and daily sanitation.
• Oversees loading, delivery, and installation of ACI products.
• Supervises warehouse activities performed by inmates.
• Prepares trip tickets per ADCRR guidelines and maintains CDL certifications/medical compliance.
