Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking an experienced CDL driver for the Transportation Fleet to load, secure and operate tractor trailers, tankers, and other vehicles within the PECO Energy system. This on-site role requires flexibility for remote reporting to PECO locations and shift work as needed.

Required are a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, OSHA forklift certification, and experience with rigging and securing loads.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years tractor/trailer driving experience.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Experience around energized equipment.
• OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• One to three years experience with basic rigging techniques for lifting equipment onto vehicles.
• One to three years experience securing loads on flatbed trailers.
• Familiarity with boom trucks and tractor-trailers.

Responsibilities

• Flexibility to report to remote PECO Energy locations.
• Shift work and off-hours opportunities as needed.
• Perform basic rigging for lifting equipment and materials.
• Ensure proper load securement for transport.
• Opportunity to progress to Equipment Operator if needed.
