Job summary

Waste Management is hiring CDL drivers in the Foley, AL area. The role involves operating heavy-duty trucks with front, side, or rear-end load attachments, transporting waste to disposal or recycling facilities, and providing timely pickup and container handling.

Training is provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and route efficiency. Shifts are Monday–Friday with rotating weekends; starting around 4am.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with an air‑brake endorsement is required.
• 1 year operating a CDL vehicle or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public and complete records.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy‑duty trucks following WM safety rules and regulations.
• Perform pre- and post‑trip inspections and document checks.
• Communicate with Operations Manager/Dispatch about service interruptions and issues.
• Complete end‑of‑day procedures and route documentation.
• Maintain safe vehicle handling in residential and commercial settings.
