Job summary

BIAGI WAREHOUSING FLORIDA INC is seeking an experienced CDL-A driver to safely operate tractor-trailer combinations for freight transport and delivery. You will hook/unhook trailers, load/unload cargo, fuel vehicles, and ensure all paperwork is accurate and compliant.

The role requires English literacy, a clean driving record, and the ability to meet DOT medical standards. 100% employer-paid benefits and company match retirement are included in a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License
• Previous tractor-trailer driving experience with 48’–57’ dry vans or 42’ tanks
• Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math
• Working knowledge of vehicle safety systems
• Knowledge of DOT and State regulations governing safe driving and hours of service
• Available for around-the-clock trips and away from home as needed
• Must meet the medical standards of the U.S. DOT
• Satisfactory drug test and consent to random testing

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient transport and delivery of freight by operating tractor-trailer combinations
• Hook and unhook trailers from the tractor and converter dollies
• Load and unload trailers with or without mechanical equipment
• Perform fueling tasks
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition
• Check shipping papers and ensure signed bills of lading are turned in daily
• Maintain records for DOT and state regulations
