Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver building products to assigned customers. You will ensure safe loading, transport, and compliance with DOT regulations while maintaining logs and reporting issues to supervision.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL, at least two years of truck driving experience, and the ability to operate in all weather. Flatbed experience is a plus; BC values safety, quality, and a team-first mindset.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Two (2) years truck driving experience required.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and distribute building products to customers and ensure safe loading and handling.
• Drive to destinations complying with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Complete necessary paperwork and relay questions or concerns to supervisor.
• Inspect truck before and after trips and report any defects or issues.
• Maintain vehicle in safe condition, including fueling and routine maintenance.
• Keep logs and records according to DOT regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading and secure cargo for transit.
• Maintain a clean truck and good housekeeping in work area.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
