Job summary

MacArthur Co. delivers building materials to job sites and customer warehouses. As a CDL Driver, you are home each evening and on weekends, working with customers and team members to ensure projects meet company standards.

The ideal candidate has a Class A CDL (or a Class B with air brakes), can pass a DOT drug test, and brings at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, with a teamwork mindset and safety-first approach.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes (Class A preferred); must pass DOT pre-employment drug test.
• DOT pre-employment drug test required.
• 1 year of prior commercial driving experience.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Properly use and maintain equipment.
• Lead by example with knowledge in area of expertise.
• Support a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.

As a CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to the job sites and customer warehouses accurately, safely, and on time. As a Driver for our company, you will have the opportunity to be home each evening and on weekends. You will work closely with customers, fellow team members, and supervisors to guarantee projects are completed to company standards. This position requires patience and steadiness, along with a teamwork mentality to build solid relationships based on trust and competence. An ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL license.

CDL Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate, safe, and on-time delivery of building materials (HVAC, Insulation, Roofing) to industrial and commercial job sites, warehouses, and residential homes
• Provide quality service and support to our customers
• Inspect loaded trucks for order accuracy, secured properly, and complies with weight restrictions
• Work with customers and co-workers
• Help coordinate deliveries and assist in maintaining inventory levels
• Work as a team in the decision-making; build consensus rather than make decisions alone
• Ensure that delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional service

CDL Truck Driver Requirements

• Acceptable driving record and a current Class B CDL license w/ airbrakes (Class A preferred)
• Able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
• 1 year of prior commercial driving experience
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Properly use and maintain equipment
• Lead by example, with first-hand knowledge of an area of expertise
• Support a fast-paced environment with multiple projects going on simultaneously
• Knowledge of roofing, HVAC, and mechanical insulation is a plus
