Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. is seeking an experienced full-time CDL Truck Driver for our Lexington branch. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience and a current Class A CDL Driver's License. The role involves loading, unloading cargo, and driving long distances, with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo.
• Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
• Drive long distances and take orders for new deliveries.
• Inspect their trailer before and after the trip and report any defects.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.

Position: CDL Truck Driver

Location: Columbia/Lexington

Southway is looking to add experienced full-time truck drivers to our growing Branch. The following are a list of requirements; you must meet all the requirements below to be considered for this position.

Summary

Candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience. You must be able to pass a background check and drug test. All candidates will perform a skills verification test on site before hire.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo.
• Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
• Take orders for new deliveries and drive long distances.
• Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows.
• Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
• Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Inspect their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find.
• Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
• Keep a log of their activities.
• Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.

• Eyesight sufficient for operating a motor vehicle, inspection of equipment, and completion of paperwork.
• Hearing sufficient for telephone contact and interpersonal communication with customers and coworkers.
