Hamtramck Recycling / HR Logistics

Location: Hamtramck, MI

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Rotating Saturdays

Home Every Day!

Are you an experienced CDL Truck Driver looking for a steady, local driving job with no overnights? Hamtramck Recycling / HR Logistics is hiring dedicated drivers with experience in 53ft Dry Vans (Drop & Hook, Live Loads, and Deliveries). Experience with heavy hauling transfer trailers is a plus but not required.

Consistent Schedule – Monday-Friday, 5 AM – 2 PM, with rotating Saturdays

Job Responsibilities:

• Service 53ft Dry Vans – Drop & Hook, Live Loads, and Deliveries
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
• Ensure proper load securement and DOT compliance
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers for smooth operations
• Maintain accurate logbooks and paperwork
• Cross-training in heavy hauling transfer trailers is a plus but not required
• Keep a clean and well-maintained vehicle
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

CDL Class A License (Required) - 3 Years on the road minimum experience

Experience with 53ft Dry Van swaps at customer locations

Experience With Transfer Trailers (Preferred)

Experience in the waste/recycling industry is a plus, but not required

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and customers
