• Operate machinery to move and transfer solid waste and discard materials, including garbage truck operations.
• Maintain and clean equipment; report mechanical defects and maintenance needs.
• Follow safety precautions; identify and report unsafe acts, conditions, accidents and injuries.
• Provide courteous service to the public and City staff; maintain confidentiality of work-related issues.
• May respond after hours during emergencies or department-wide events.
