Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Associate Learning & Development Trainer within Transportation Operations Management to deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on training for Transportation Associates, with a DOT-regulated focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds and stand long shifts.
• At least 1 year of verifiable CDL driving in the last 10 years.
• Eligibility to drive under DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on training following established curriculum.
• Conduct onboarding covering yard safety, equipment operation, and Amazon policies.
• Provide ongoing safety refreshers and operational updates.
• Deliver safe driving techniques and ensure DOT compliance through inspections.
• Train associates on route planning, navigation, and emergency protocols.
• Perform yard safety observations and real-time coaching.
• Support yard operations during peak periods and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain training records and report metrics.
