Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Associate Learning & Development Trainer within Transportation Operations Management to deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on training for Transportation Associates, with a DOT-regulated focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the network.

In this role you will lead onboarding, ongoing safety refreshers, over-the-road training, and yard operations support, partnering with site leadership to drive performance, maintain records, and continuously

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Class A CDL required.
Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
Able to lift up to 49 pounds and stand long shifts.
At least 1 year of verifiable CDL driving in the last 10 years.
Eligibility to drive under DOT rules.

Responsibilities

Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on training following established curriculum.
Conduct onboarding covering yard safety, equipment operation, and Amazon policies.
Provide ongoing safety refreshers and operational updates.
Deliver safe driving techniques and ensure DOT compliance through inspections.
Train associates on route planning, navigation, and emergency protocols.
Perform yard safety observations and real-time coaching.
Support yard operations during peak periods and maintain safety standards.
Maintain training records and report metrics.
