Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a motivated Driver Trainee to enter a structured CDL training program designed to prepare you for a career as a licensed driver within our company. You will be trained through classroom study, on-route practice, and hands-on sessions, with support including a loaner vehicle to help you pass the CDL exam.

Upon earning your CDL, you will transition into a Driver role across one of our lines of business such as Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off, with

Qualifications

CDL training program provided by Republic Services.
Classroom study and on-route training will prepare the CDL.
Post-CDL, you will perform Driver duties across multiple lines of business.

Responsibilities

Complete CDL training program including classroom and on-route components.
Maintain safety and report issues per company policy.
Operate heavy or commercial trucks on designated routes after CDL is obtained.
Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and ensure vehicle readiness.
After CDL, assume Driver responsibilities in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off.
