Job summary

Bossier Parish Community College seeks a CDL/CVO Instructor to teach on the Bossier campus with occasional travel to Natchitoches and Many Campuses. Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with Manual Transmission.
• Minimum of three years of recent truck driving experience.
• Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT regulations and policies.
• Ability to maintain records and generate reports using technology.
• Willingness to travel between Bossier City, Natchitoches and Many campuses.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction and behind‑the‑wheel training for CDL candidates.
• Implement safety and compliance measures per FMCSA/DOT rules.
• Prepare syllabi, instructional materials and student assessments.
• Coordinate enrollment, gather required documentation and manage records.
• Maintain program equipment and work with campus facilities for repairs.
• Advise students on grades, progression and career paths.
• Attend program meetings and engage in professional development.
• Recruit students and employer partners for program growth.
• Fulfill assignments per BPCC calendar and college policies.
