Job summary

Alaska X provides CDL training in Skagway, with paid hours during ELDT at $26.00 per hour. Training covers classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, with licensing costs shared 50/50 between the company and trainee.

A payroll-deduction plan begins after license attainment, and a potential 2027 contract awaits successful completion. During tenure, you will greet guests, transport them to and from Adventure Camp, and deliver narrated tours.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Passenger endorsement to be obtained during tenure.
• Valid Medical Certificate.
• Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on the docks and transport them safely.
• Provide narrated tours with accurate information.
• Follow company SOPs for safety and quality.
• Stay informed about local history and points of interest.
• Perform other duties to support company goals.
