The CDL Trainer at PAM Transport is responsible for training drivers to produce safe, high-quality operators. You will teach in the classroom and on the road, including driving range and public roads, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

We seek candidates with at least 1 year verifiable OTR Class A experience or 1 year as a Class A CDL Instructor, a valid Class A CDL, a clean MVR, and the ability to obtain licensure as required.

About this opportunity

The CDL Trainer is responsible for training drivers to produce the highest quality safe drivers.

The CDL Trainer works with drivers both in the classroom and on the road, teaching them to operate a vehicle safely on the driving range as well as on public roads.

Pay and Schedule

This position is Monday - Friday, day shift.

The pay range is $50,000 - $55,000/year dependent on experience.

How you will contribute to the success of the team

Prepare and deliver classroom, equipment, range, and road instruction.

Monitor driver progress and provide additional assistance as necessary.

Prepare reports and records accurately and completely as required by laws, policies, and school regulations.

Manage driver behavior in the classroom and on the range by enforcing rules and procedures.

What makes you a strong candidate for this position?

1 year verifiable OTR type Class A experience in the last 3 years or 1 year experience as a Class A CDL Instructor.
