Pepsi Bottling Ventures is hiring a Trainee-DOT to learn all aspects of a Route Delivery Driver role. You will service accounts along a designated route, deliver and merchandise products, and adhere to safety and driving regulations.

This entry-level position emphasizes DOT knowledge, driving eligibility, and customer service in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role requires a Class A CDL, ability to pass a DOT physical, and willingness to obtain a CDL permit if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Zero to two years of commercial driving experience with a CDL is preferred.
• Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical before first day of employment.
• Ability to obtain a CDL permit within 45 business days if not currently held.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on the delivery truck per DOT rules.
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle and unload products at accounts.
• Stock shelves and ensure proper rotation and check-in procedures.
• Obtain signatures, stamps, and invoices for end-of-day settlements.
• Communicate issues to store personnel and follow DOT/FMCSA regulations.
