Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company invites candidates to join a paid Driver Merchandiser Assistant training program. The role leads to a CDL Driver position after successful completion of the Heartland CDL Training Program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of work experience.
• Retail customer service or merchandising experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Must have completed knowledge testing and hold a CLP before Heartland Driver Training.
• Background checks including DOT drug/alcohol, criminal record, DOT physical, and MVR.
• PIT certification preferred; required upon hire.
• Read/speak/write English sufficiently for public interaction.

Responsibilities

• Attend driver training program held at Heartland Coca-Cola.
• Complete program satisfactorily and obtain CDL.
• Complete company-specific content training such as outlet training and driver handheld usage.
• Maintain employment with Heartland Coca-Cola for a period of two years.
• Assist in distribution or warehouse when not actively in training.
