Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is offering a Driver in Training position to obtain a Commercial Driver License through the Heartland CDL Training Program. Upon completion, placement into a CDL Driver position will be provided.

The role includes attending driver training, completing program requirements, and performing company training on safety, customer service, and handheld devices, with additional duties as needed. Candidates must be at least 21 and legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year work experience required.
• Prior retail customer service experience preferred.
• Prior merchandising or warehouse order builder experience preferred.
• Meet admission guidelines for the Heartland Program.
• Must be at least 21 and eligible to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Must have CLP prior to entering Driver Training.
• Background checks including DOT checks and drug testing required.
• Pallet jack experience preferred; PIT certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Attend driver training program at Heartland Coca-Cola.
• Complete program satisfactorily and obtain CDL.
• Complete company-specific training (outlet, handheld, safety).
• Maintain employment for a period of two years.
• Assist in merchandising or distribution/warehouse when not training.
