Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL-certified tire service technician in Kentucky. You will drive company service vehicles to service and repair OTR and large equipment tires at customer locations, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability.

The role requires night shifts and overtime as needed, with opportunities for skill development and advancement. Strong candidates have a CDL A or B, experience with heavy tires, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A or B.
• Ability to pass pre-employment driver’s file.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours.
• Experience with OTR, heavy-duty, or commercial tires.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly, and up to 250 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company service vehicles to rack and hoist vehicles for inspection.
• Perform on-site tire installations and repairs on OTR and large equipment vehicles.
• Ensure safe operation of vehicles and adherence to speed regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper care of tools and equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide roadside tire service.
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
• Complete additional tasks to support team operations.
