Driving Academy in Florida seeks a CDL Test Examiner to oversee licensing testing, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You will administer all test components, verify results, and maintain safe vehicle operations.

Ideal candidates have a CDL Class A with a clean driving record and at least three years of CDL driving experience, plus willingness to train and coordinate with the Test Coordinator. This is an on-site role supporting daily operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to understand and explain licensing procedures and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail to verify test results and documentation.
• Knowledge of truck and vehicle safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer CDL licensing tests (pre-trip, maneuvers, road) per regulations.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of test results.
• Record and upload test results to national testing database.
• Prepare facility for daily operations and close of business.
• Inspect vehicles for roadworthiness and safety.
• Operate CDL vehicles along scheduled routes.
• Attend required regulatory training.
• Coordinate with Test Coordinator and Lead Examiner to resolve issues.
• Assist during examinations and provide guidance as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
