Job summary

Roadmaster Drivers School is seeking a CDL Examiner to administer examinations in strict compliance with local, state, and Federal rules, Company policies, and safety standards.

Candidates must hold a CDL Class A license with endorsements, maintain a clean driving record, and possess a high school diploma or GED. You will regularly interact with students and staff, ensure exam integrity, and coordinate with the training department as required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with all required endorsements.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations in the last 3 years.
• Minimum 3 years of over-the-road or local driving experience or as approved by Company.
• Must pass and maintain DOT physical and DOT drug screen including hair follicle test (HFT).
• Must obtain all local, state and Federal approvals to be certified as a CDL Examiner.
• High school diploma, GED or higher; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer CDL examinations in accordance with state and Federal regulations and Company policies.
• Ensure safe operation of testing equipment during exams and intervene when necessary to prevent accidents.
• Maintain integrity of CDL exams and testing materials; report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Attend CDL refresher classes and stay updated on procedures.
• Maintain professional conduct, ethics, and adherence to all policies during testing.
• Submit all test evaluations and required reports on time.
• Wear appropriate uniform and keep testing equipment well-maintained.
• Assist the training department as needed, without administering exams to trainees.
• Maintain reliable, punctual attendance and other duties as assigned.
