Vortex Companies is seeking a hands-on field worker to support sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation projects. You will operate CIPP equipment, work with the crew, and assist in loading materials for transport to job sites.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, CDL-A/B with tanker endorsement, and be willing to travel 100% with a daily per diem of $60. The role involves physically demanding tasks and compliance with safety standards.

Competenze

• Able to follow instructions and complete on-the-job training.
• Preferred 1–2 years of experience operating a Class A or B vehicle.
• Must possess CDL-A or CDL-B with tanker endorsement and clean driving record.
• Willing to travel 100% and work overtime as needed; daily per diem of $60.
• Physically capable of lifting >50 lbs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs all work tasks required to support execution of sewer maintenance, inspection and/or rehabilitation pipeline tasks
• Properly operate and maintain CIPP equipment .
• Work effectively with supervisors and all members of the crew to ensure successful inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems.
• Load materials and equipment into vehicles for transportation to and from the job site.
• Able to work in the elements - extreme cold and heat for long duration.
• Can lift, push/pull, carry 50 lbs.

Skills and Specifications

• Capable of following instructions and on-the-job training.
• Basic math skills.
• Preferred 1-2 years of experience operating a Class A or B Vehicle
• Possess a CDL- A or B with a clean driver record and tanker endorsement
• Ability to work overtime and out of town/state, travel 100%, and includes daily Per Diem ($60 / day)
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift over 50 lbs.

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred 1-2 years of experience operating a Class A or B Vehicle
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew and customers including, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to think logically about work at hand and compare site conditions with project designs
• Ability to enter and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical and driver's license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).
