Job summary

Airgas is seeking a safety-minded Bulk CO2 Driver in Gilberts, IL to operate a cryogenic tanker and deliver to Microbulk tanks. Expect roughly 12–20 deliveries per day within a 100-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents within the last three years.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of trucking school completion in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Product Delivery: Safely transfer bulk CO2 to customer tanks.
• Vehicle Inspections: Pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Coordination: Maintain route truck in safe working order and arrange maintenance as needed.
