Airgas is seeking a safety-minded Bulk CO2 Driver to operate a cryogenic tanker around Gilberts, IL. You will deliver CO2 to customer sites, perform DOT-compliant vehicle inspections, and coordinate routine maintenance to keep routes running smoothly.

The role offers a 2:00 AM or 1:00 PM start, Thursday-Sunday schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and a 401(k) with company match.

Competenze

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL with Tanker endorsement and no air brake restriction.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred; willing to obtain within 60 days (costs covered by Airgas).
• No more than 2 traffic convictions or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years.
• No DUI or drug-related driving within the last 7 years.
• 1 year of CDL driving in the last 5 years or completion of trucking school within the last 12 months.

Mansioni

• Product Delivery: Safely transfer bulk CO2 from the Airgas truck to the customer’s tank using a hose hookup.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and maintenance checklists.
• Collaboration: Ensure route truck remains safe and coordinate maintenance as needed.
