Responsibilities

• Perform trailer switches moving a parked trailer from the yard to a load/unload door or door to yard.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management and central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Load and unload packages onto/from vehicles, trailers and conveyors.
• Sort packages by scanning labels and reading charts; follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
