Job summary

Waste Pro in Concord, NC is seeking a Swing Driver with Roll Off and Front Load experience to operate refuse collection trucks on assigned routes. You will manage helper staff, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure safety and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include customer service, proper unloading at landfills, maintaining logs, and supporting other routes as needed. This position is on-site and requires strong reliability and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state.
• Minimum 2 years waste industry driving experience in the past 7 years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and write English to communicate with customers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on designated route and dumps garbage at the appropriate facility.
• Oversees helpers on route and performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Completes DVIR and safety logs per Waste Pro guidelines and DOT requirements.
• Maintains clean vehicle and performs basic maintenance as needed.
• Supports other routes or tasks as assigned by supervisor.
