Job summary

Ascentek is hiring a CDL Shuttle Driver & Yard Jockey in the metro area. The role involves delivering finished goods or raw materials between warehouses and customers, with regular forklift duties in the warehouse.

The position is full-time, with a two-week shuttle rotation and one week as yard driver. Requires a valid DOT medical card, hazmat endorsement, and clean driving record. Local home nightly with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prefer 2 years driving experience within the last 5 years and strong customer service skills.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 36 months or 2 in the last 12 months.
• No DWI or DUI in the past 5 years.
• Possess a current DOT Medical certification card.
• Meets all DOT qualifications and hazmat endorsement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport loaded trailers between Ascentek facilities and supplier/ customer sites within the metro area.
• Move trailers in/out of dock doors and reposition within parking areas.
• Maintain trailer inventory and DOT date updates as needed.
• Operate forklift and perform warehouse tasks as required.
