Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking candidates for a driver training program in Salt Lake City, Utah. Training runs during day shifts and transitions to swing shifts after completion. You will complete on-site training to obtain a CDL within 60 days and support airport passengers with safe, courteous service.

The role requires being at least 21 years old, holding a valid CDL permit, and passing DOT medical and drug tests. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid state-issued commercial driver’s permit and acceptable DMV record.
• DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate) required.
• Able to pass DOT drug and alcohol test and background check.
• Able to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Complete on-site driver training to acquire a CDL; must obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections and understand required vehicle equipment.
• Learn to drive passengers and assist travelers, including airport information.
• Assist passengers with boarding/exiting and wheelchair lifts; aid with baggage as needed.
• Provide safe, courteous transportation and maintain clean vehicle interiors.
