Job summary

SP+ in Cleveland is hiring a Shuttle Driver DOT to safely operate shuttle buses and transport passengers efficiently to their destinations. You will uphold safety, deliver excellent customer service, and represent SP+ with a professional appearance.

The role requires a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement, a DOT Medical Card, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. Training provided and opportunities to grow within the SP+ network.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than high school or ~1 month related experience.
• License: CDL Class A/B/C with Passenger Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Availability: may require 3rd shift and/or weekends.
• Language: ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate with customers.
• Math: basic arithmetic with dollars.
• Appearance: neat, clean, uniform.
• Physical Demands: stand, walk, lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client/customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of bus interiors.
• Be punctual and in uniform every scheduled day.
• Maintain a valid CDL and DMV record.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Assist customers and guide them in the garage area.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when needed.
• Know garage layout and local landmarks to aid customers.
• Assist with luggage at airports if applicable.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties.
