Job summary

Valet Park of America in Stamford, CT is looking for a CDL Shuttle Driver (PT). The role covers split shifts morning and afternoon, with a few hours weekly as needed.

You will shuttle customers in newer 25-passenger shuttles, perform safety inspections, and ensure welcoming service at pickup points. Full-time benefits include health/dental insurance after 90 days, a 50/50 split, and paid vacation after one year.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is a must.
• A valid CDL with passenger endorsement is required.
• A valid medical card is also required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons politely and assist them as needed.
• Safely shuttle customers to various destinations.
• Open and close doors for patrons.
• Adhere to traffic laws/signs for safe shuttle operation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and management via radio.
• Perform pre-trip inspections to meet safety requirements.

• Fill in as a lot attendant when needed; report mechanical issues.

CDL Shuttle Driver FT or PT

ADMIN Part-time Regular Stamford, CT, Stamford, CT, US

DRIVER- Shuttle Driver needed to drive in Stamford, CT.

We are seeking a new member of our transportation team in Stamford. The current opening is for a driver seeking PT split shifts a couple of days per week to start.

This position will earn $22/hour to start.

Shifts are 6:20am-9:20am & 2:50pm-8:05pm Monday through Friday. This role will work Wednesdays and Fridays and some other hours as needed.

The shuttle vehicles are newer walk-on 25-passenger shuttles that are cleaned and maintained regularly.

Full-time help is eligible for Health/Dental insurance available after 90 days (50/50 split), and paid vacation after one year. Room for advancement! Must be over 20, customer service experience is a must! A valid CDL with passenger endorsement is required. A valid medical card is also required. Background checks and driving tests will be conducted.

Shuttle Driver- Job Description

The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can
• Safely shuttling customers to various destinations
• Opening and closing doors for patrons
• Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles
• Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants
• Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
• Recording passenger counts and trip times
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
• Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.)
• Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
• Filling in as a lot attendant when needed
• Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management
• Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations
• Operate wheelchair lift as needed, and secure chairs with tie downs as needed
