Performance Food Group (New) is hiring a Driver, Shuttle in Tennessee. This role involves transporting empty trailers to warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations, adhering to DOT regulations.

Expect a 4-day Sunday-Thursday night schedule with a $24 per hour starting wage and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. You will interact professionally with customers and teammates to support food distribution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• Valid CDL A
• Must be 21 years of age
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Pass road test
• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations
• Report safety issues and required repairs
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; inspect loads
• Ensure route paperwork is with tractor-trailer and ready at dispatch
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule
• Perform hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines
• Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas
• Secure equipment and freight at all times
• Collect damaged goods and returns and complete necessary paperwork
• Unload equipment and maintain trailer cleanliness
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per regulations
• Perform general housekeeping in loading dock areas
• Perform other duties as assigned
