Job summary

Shearer's Foods, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver for day shift (6:00am–6:00pm). The role involves unloading, moving loads between storage and production areas, verifying truck loads, and delivering reliable service to customers across North America.

Requirements: 21+ years old, CDL Class A with DOT qualifications, forklift and hand lift experience, and a proven safe driving record. Six months of commercial driving experience in food/beverage delivery preferred; manual transmission experience

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Experience driving and operating forklifts and hand lifts
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
• Proven safe driving record
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred

Responsibilities

• Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, forklift or by hand and place in designated storage areas
• Utilize jockey trucks to move trailers between storage locations and manufacturing facility
• Verify accuracy of truck loads and obtain proper signatures
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required

SHUTTLE DRIVER

Day Shift - 6.00am to 6.00pm

Continental Shift

Pay Rate - $20.00/Hr.
