Job summary

Shearer's Foods is hiring a Shuttle Driver for the Day Shift (6:00am–6:00pm) on a continental schedule. The role requires a valid CDL Class A, forklift/hand lift experience, and a proven safe driving record. Responsibilities include unloading trailers and moving loads between storage locations to support daily operations.

You will also verify loads, obtain signatures, and provide professional customer service while handling 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly, in varying weather. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have valid CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Experience driving and operating forklifts/hand lifts.
• Minimum six months commercial driving experience (or three months in food/beverage delivery).
• Proven safe driving record.
• Manual transmission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload products from trailers using a two‑wheeler, pallet jack, forklift, or by hand.
• Move trailers between storage locations and manufacturing facility using jockey trucks.
• Verify accuracy of truck loads and obtain proper signatures.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance client experience.
• Lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repeatedly during each shift.
• Operate in inclement weather with frequent stops.

SHUTTLE DRIVER

Day Shift - 6.00am to 6.00pm

Continental Shift

Pay Rate - $20.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two‑wheeler, pallet jack, forklift or by hand and place in designated storage areas
• Utilize jockey trucks to move trailers between storage locations and manufacturing facility
• Verify accuracy of truck loads and obtain proper signatures
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Experience driving and operating forklifts and hand lifts
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
• Proven safe driving record
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
