Job summary

Superior Beverage Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely transport product between drop lots and the main Solon facility, following DOT regulations and company guidelines. You will manage loading, documentation, and on-time delivery, while supporting a cohesive team environment.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, accurate paperwork, and operating trucks and forklifts. The role requires a Class A CDL (Doubles endorsement preferred), a clean driving record, and the stamina to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A CDL with Doubles Endorsement preferred.
• Current Driver's Medical Card required.
• Clean driving record and safe driving history.
• Ability to operate company trucks, forklifts and related equipment.
• Ability to drive long distances and for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned vehicles daily and complete DOT pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Picks up and delivers loads within time constraints.
• Ensure product is loaded within weight restrictions.
• Submit all paperwork accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with shift manager for trailer spotting and load assignments.
• Operate equipment within DOT guidelines and safety rules.

Shuttle Drivers utilize company trucks to safely transport product to and from drop lots and other company locations in a timely manner. These drivers are responsible for taking fully loaded trailers to and from our drop lot locations (Columbiana, Lorain, or Canton) and hauling back to our main facility in Solon, OH.

• Sunday through Thursday, 5pm - 1:00/2:00am

Shuttle Driver Duties

• Inspect assigned vehicles daily for mechanical problems. Ensures cleanliness of cab and trailer. Completes D.O.T. regulated pre-trip/post-trip inspections and submits documentation daily.
• Picks up and delivers loads within time constraints.
• Ensures product is loaded accurately and within weight restrictions.
• Completely and submits all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Works with the shift manager in spotting trailers and ensuring proper assignment of loads to each trailer.
• Operates equipment within D.O.T. guidelines and in a safe and efficient manner. Complies with all D.O.T. regulations.

Qualifications

Shuttle Driver Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience preferred
• Basic math skills
• Problem solving and organizational skills
• Knowledge of all D.O.T. and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and guidelines
• Ability to operate company trucks, forklifts and equipment
• Ability to drive long distances and for extended periods of time
• Effective communication skills
• Clean driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Class A Commercial Drivers License Required, Doubles Endorsement Preferred
• Current Drivers Medical Card
• Ability to repeatedly maneuver 168 pound kegs and 35 pound cases as required.
• Perform duties in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Capable of performing physical activity that requires considerable use of arms and legs, and movement of the whole body, such as lifting and bending.
