Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Driver to transport residents, staff, and visitors within our gated retirement community in West Houston, TX. You will operate buses and sedans, assist passengers, and perform vehicle inspections while maintaining cleanliness and accurate vehicle logs.

Ideal candidates have a CDL Class C with passenger endorsement, 3+ years of driving experience, and a current DOT medical certificate. This role offers part-time or flex schedules within an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to drive.
• Current and valid Commercial Driver's License Class C (or higher) with passenger endorsement.
• Ability to operate vehicles equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts.
• Minimum of three years of verifiable driving experience.
• Current and valid DOT Physical/Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents, staff and visitors on scheduled and unscheduled appointments.
• Operate vehicles equipped with wheelchair ramps and lifts and securement systems.
• Operate passenger buses and sedans and assist passengers with boarding and alighting.
• Prepare vehicles for usage, including pre/post-trip inspections and refueling.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and log vehicle usage.
