Job summary

ACE Recycling & Disposal is seeking an On-site Document Destruction Driver to securely destruction documents at customer locations in the Salt Lake County area. You will operate a mobile shredding truck, maintain chain-of-custody, and provide professional customer service while complying with safety policies.

Responsibilities include driving, routing, daily inspections, and using tablets and routing software to verify pickups.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Previous commercial driving or route service experience preferred.
• Experience operating hydraulic equipment or heavy equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read maps, follow routes, and locate customer addresses.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a mobile document destruction (shredding) truck.
• Travel to customer locations to perform secure, on-site document destruction services.
• Verify service orders and ensure all scheduled pickups are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain complete chain-of-custody procedures to protect confidential customer information.
• Load, unload, and operate shredding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate route documentation, service records, and electronic logs.
• Operate tablets, GPS, routing software, and other electronic equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers throughout the workday.
• Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service while representing ACE Recycling & Disposal.
• Follow all DOT regulations (when applicable), company safety procedures, and traffic laws.
• Assist with other operational duties as assigned.
