Job summary

Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind - ASDB is seeking school bus drivers to protect students on their way to and from school. A Class B CDL with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake endorsements is required, along with a valid Arizona license and background checks.

Responsibilities include safe operation of a state vehicle, pre/post-trip inspections, timely student pickups, and maintaining discipline and safety on routes. Training in ASL is available through the agency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Be prepared to participate in ASL classes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a state vehicle on a set daily schedule.
• Pick up and drop off students as per schedule and maintain order on the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report safety issues.
