Job summary

The City of Pasadena seeks a Sanitation Truck Driver to operate rear-load/side-load sanitation vehicles on designated residential and commercial routes, performing refuse collection and assisting with special sanitation operations. You will work with the crew to complete routes safely and efficiently while upholding safety standards.

Requirements include a High School diploma/GED, Texas Class B CDL with a good driving record, and at least 1 year of related vehicle operation experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Class B CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year operating commercial sanitation vehicles or related heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate rear-load, side-load, or other sanitation collection vehicles on assigned routes.
• Perform daily refuse and trash collection according to schedules.
• Assist with brush collection, bulky waste, and special collections as needed.
