Qualifications

• Possess valid CDL and current DOT medical card.
• Two years of commercial driving experience in the past five years.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and wearing steel-toed boots.
• Comply with OSHA safety standards and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate the garbage truck on pre-assigned routes.
• Load and unload waste, bikes, and bulk items as needed.
• Manage routes and adhere to schedules using route maps.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Follow safety protocols for waste handling and vehicle operation.
• Provide courteous interactions with residents and the public.
• Assist with maintenance and basic repairs on trucks.
• Respond to emergencies when required.
