Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least two (2) years of experience driving Class 8 trucks and other heavy trucks.
• Must have a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to understand and follow oral/written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a garbage truck to collect residential and commercial waste.
• Haul waste materials to transfer stations or other designated disposal sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment.
• Supervise a group of semi-skilled workers.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
