Job summary

Schwan's Company in Springfield, MO is hiring for a Route Sales & Delivery role. You will deliver product on a Monday–Friday route, merchandise shelves, place orders, and help drive sales while building store relationships.

This CDL Class B position requires safety-conscious driving, the ability to lift 35 pounds, and willingness to participate in pre-employment checks. Company offers benefits including health insurance and 401K with match.

Qualifications

• DSD, grocery, delivery or warehouse experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide route coverage by delivering products and merchandising on store shelves.
• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space and promoting new products.
• Unload products, place product in back room, and collect proof of delivery.
• Maintain display space, rotate product, and ensure shelf readiness.
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
