Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Utility Driver to service customers by collecting waste and recycling materials across routes in the Broadview Heights, OH area. This role requires operating different trucks, completing daily routes, and maintaining logs and vehicle checks.

The ideal candidate has a Class B CDL, a current DOT medical card, and at least 1–2 years of CDL experience with strong map-reading and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years CDL truck driving experience.
• Must have valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• No more than minor violations in last 2 years.
• Must read and speak English well.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, safely and compliantly.
• Operate various types of trucks and complete assigned routes.
• Enter/exit the truck 300–500 times per day on average.
• Pick up missed stops or routes as needed.
• Deliver and replace containers at curb or designated area.
• Keep truck clean and document route logs and inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers and team members.
