Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Elgin, IL seeks a Class B CDL Route Driver (Sales and Service Route Driver) to train on a Class B box truck, service parts washers, and sell on a defined route. You will drive Monday–Friday, home daily, with early starts and overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements due within 90 days of employment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Able to perform physical functions as required
• Background check, drug test, and physical per position
• Respiratory protection rules compliance for respirator users

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority and follow safe practices
• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediments from sinks
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new field leads
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing customers
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups timely
• Follow local, state and federal compliance regulations
• Operate vehicles in compliance with U.S. DOT rules
• Observe environmental health and safety guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
