SGC Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A truck driver in Alabama to transport groceries on local and long-haul routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, secure cargo, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations while delivering efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (typically four points or less).
• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math for receipts and logs.
• Must have good oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hook and unhook trailers and secure loads.
• Load/unload trailer and assist with equipment as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Drive in compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain required logs and records for compliance.
