Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Rental Rollback Driver in Georgia.

You will deliver and pick up rental equipment from store to customer sites, perform pre/post delivery inspections, and provide equipment familiarization. CDL Class B is required and you will maintain DOT logs and safety standards. The role requires 3+ years of heavy equipment transport experience, English proficiency, and ability to use delivery software and electronic tablets.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class B license.
• 3+ years of experience transporting heavy equipment or related freight.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must clear driver screenings and provide info for DQ file (Road Test, Background check, MVR, DOT Physical, Drug Screen).
• Must not be disqualified to drive a CMV under 49 CFR § 383.5 or 49 CFR § 383.51.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL single-body vehicle (e.g., 10 wheel rollback).
• Maintain safe driving record and follow safety guidelines; use PPE at all times.
• Maintain DOT log book; go 100% compliant.
• Take digital pictures of equipment before delivery.
• Safely load and unload equipment onto the transport vehicle.
• Inspect equipment for safe operation and cleanliness before leaving yard.
• Obtain customer signature on rental contract and damage inspection sheet at delivery (>80% of deliveries).
• Provide familiarization of equipment to customer on delivery.
• Inspect equipment for damage at customer location; take additional photos if needed.
• Demonstrate customer service with a rock-star attitude.
• Participate in safety program and wear PPE as required.
• Complete Driver’s Safety Course.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
