Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Rental Rollback Driver in Georgia to deliver and pick up rental equipment, perform pre/post delivery inspections, and educate customers on equipment use. The role requires a Class B CDL, clean driving history, and strong safety and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities include completing DOT logs, taking unit photos, obtaining signatures, and maintaining equipment readiness. Strong problem-solving and initiative are valued in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years or older.
• Valid, active CDL license with Class B or greater.
• 3+ years of experience as a driver for heavy equipment transportation or related trucking.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file (DOT, MVR, etc.).
• Must not be disqualified to drive a CMV under 49 CFR sections.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL single body vehicle such as 10 wheel rollback.
• Maintain safe driving record and follow safety guidelines, including PPE usage.
• Maintain DOT log book with accuracy for compliance.
• Take digital pictures of equipment prior to delivery.
• Load and unload equipment onto the transport vehicle safely.
• Inspect equipment for safe operation and cleanliness before delivery.
• Obtain customer signature on rental contract and damage inspection sheet at delivery.
• Provide equipment familiarization to the customer at delivery.
• Document customer damage and take photos as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and represent Yancey with professionalism.
