Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is hiring a CDL driver in Phoenix to safely operate a vehicle for picking up and dumping trash, following all safety policies and wearing required PPE. Minimum qualifications include a valid Arizona Class A or B CDL, DOT certification, a clean MVR with no DUIs, English proficiency, and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Starting pay is $27.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Minimum 2 years' experience operating a CDL vehicle.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must hold a valid Class A or Class B Arizona CDL and DOT certification, with a clean MVR (no DUIs or reckless operation).
• Medical Examiner's Certificate required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a vehicle to pick up and dump trash from cans and open tops.
• Follows all policies and local, state, and federal laws.
• Performs daily vehicle maintenance checks.
• Completes paperwork and reports as directed; meets daily targets.
• May work overtime to finish tasks.
• Ensures safety rules are followed and hazards are reported.
• Unloads vehicles and moves items as required.
• Maintains regular attendance.
