Job summary

A leading waste management company is seeking a truck driver to operate vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class B CDL and experience with truck practices. You will conduct inspections, interact with customers, and maintain cleanliness of the truck. Qualifications

• Must have at least a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire.
• 1-2 years CDL truck driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck in a safe and compliant manner.
• Maintain and update route sheets.
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections.

Skills

Ability to read and understand a map and/or navigation system

Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills

Ability to drive manual transmission

General knowledge of truck mechanics

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to read and speak English

Education

General Education Diploma

High School diploma
